First stop: Copenhagen and Malmö

We started off our journey at 3am in Judenburg, where we were ready to head to Vienna airport in order to take our flight to Copenhagen. There we would spend 3 days full of sight-seeing, shopping, eating (of course) and lots of fun. After a safe flight, we were ready to get to know the city of fashion and architecture with its famous monuments like the little mermaid.

On the first day right after our arrival in Denmark, we immediately decided to go for the simplest method and go on a boat tour through Copenhagen. We got to see beautiful sights for example Nyhavn, Christiania Freetown and of course, the little mermaid. Accompanied by the surprisingly great weather, we enjoyed the boat tour as well as the great entertainment of Mr Fiechtl. As for one of the most important things on our journey – food – we decided to visit “Papiroen Food Market” and tasted different meals from all over the world.

The next day, after a rather short night and breakfast at our hotel, we had the chance to hop on the train and go to Malmö, Sweden. Because we didn’t have loads of time, we again went for the boat tour, and got to see not only beautiful sights, but also all the handsome Swedish people, which we of course enjoyed. After our standard coffee break at Starbucks, we took the train home to Copenhagen again and enjoyed a drink and a football game in a Danish pub.

Today we fortunately had time to sleep in and are currently on the train to Aalborg, where the CEI Conference will take place. Obviously, we are very excited to get to know the others and look forward to all the upcoming events!
